As a psychologist, I value learning about your story and the contexts that impact it, such as your cultural identities, your values, and your goals.  I understand the struggles in particular that can be felt by individuals with marginalized identities and strive to create a safe place for you to feel seen and understood. My therapeutic interventions are aimed at meeting you where you are at in your journey.  I find this approach helpful for individuals in transitionary stages in life whether it be related to school, work, their relationships, or exploring their identity. I love asking questions that increase insight into your life and enjoy sitting with you as we explore together. So whether you are starting for the first time or coming back to therapy, I am excited to have you here prioritizing yourself. My name is Dr. Gabe Corpus and I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I am a proud 2nd generation Filipino man, and I am currently based in Orange County, CA.  I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University (PAU) and also hold a masters in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. My emphasis at PAU was Diversity and Community Mental Health, which led me to pursue over 7 years of supervised clinical service at university/college counseling centers, a veterans association, and community mental health working with a wide variety of emerging adults and adults navigating many aspects of their lives.  I am also trained in providing trainings in suicide prevention and mental health to community populations in order to decrease stigma and increase awareness about these often taboo topics.
