For the Creative High Achiever Struggling with Self-Doubt
Do you ever feel like you’re constantly trying to prove yourself, yet the voice in your head keeps telling you, “You’re not enough”? Maybe you’ve reached milestones others admire, but instead of celebrating, you’re stuck questioning whether you truly belong. As a creative, content creator, or high-achieving professional, you might find yourself juggling perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and the weight of feeling like you always have to be “on.”
The truth is, it’s exhausting. The pressure to perform, to meet expectations—whether they’re your own or others’—can make it hard to feel at ease in your own life. You might feel like you’re constantly walking a tightrope between wanting to achieve and wishing you could slow down and just be.
I help creative Gen Z and Millennial individuals overcome imposter syndrome and feeling like they are not enough by providing a space to foster strength-building and self-compassion. Together, we’ll uncover where these pressures come from, work through the self-critical thoughts holding you back, and build confidence so you can feel more grounded and fulfilled—both on and off the job.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. Let’s create a space where you can explore your story, embrace your worth, and thrive as the person you are—not just the person you think you have to be.
My Story
Hi, I’m Dr. Gabe Corpus, a licensed Clinical Psychologist and proud second-generation Filipino based in Orange County, CA. As someone who loves creative expression and values personal growth, I know how it feels to wrestle with self-doubt and the pressures of high achievement. My own journey—and the stories of the incredible clients I’ve worked with—have shown me that success and confidence don’t always go hand in hand, but they can.
I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University, where I focused on Diversity and Community Mental Health, and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked with clients in university counseling centers, community mental health centers, and veterans associations, helping them navigate transitions, explore their identities, and find balance in their lives. I’ve also trained communities in suicide prevention and mental health awareness, helping to break down stigma around topics we’re often afraid to talk about through a lens of cultural attunement.
I’m passionate about working with high-achieving individuals—especially creatives, content creators, and professionals in fast-paced or technical fields—because I see how much pressure they carry. It’s not just about the work itself; it’s about feeling like their worth is tied to what they produce. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your feelings, build self-compassion, and discover what it means to live authentically—without the constant pressure to be “perfect.”
When I’m not working, you can usually find me gaming, exploring social media content (and creating some of my own), or enjoying moments of fun and creativity. I believe life isn’t just about what we achieve but about finding joy in the little things along the way.
If you’re ready to stop second-guessing yourself and start feeling confident in who you are, let’s connect. You deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered to live a life that feels truly yours.
